This poster inspires me to be a better designer + it matches our living room.
The Hicks Building - the iconic building at Dal.
I'm a King Cole or Mint or Mint Green Tea kind of tea drinker. But David's Tea Shop is a delight to walk in to + oh so many kinds of tea to choose from!
 Relaxing
My Creative Director gave me a gift of homemade jam. I think the homemade card attached is beautiful.
My computer screen at work. Photo contact sheets from the Residence Life photo shoot.
Prepping for Hands Dancing at the Inverness County Centre of the Arts. Giclee prints are my photo printing choice.
A homemade sign advertising lemonade. So cute! I had one lemonade stand in my entire life. Lemonade + donuts. My neighbour and I chose a June day when we had new neighbours moving in. Smart business move! I still have the first loonie I earned and actually, ever had, from that sale.
The best quick snack to make. Beer is necessary!
An incredible idea! North end Halifax.
Doors at the high school on Oxford Street.
This house is the cutest. I'm waiting in anticipation to see what mobile they will hang next. The first one I saw was a heart around Valentine's Day.

May 28 - a perfect spring day. I'm posting these photos months later and I have to admit, I am sort of wishing it was spring. Nature is so vibrant! This day was an especially busy one. I went out on a photo scout for a Dalhousie University Residence Life photo shoot that happened in May. I had never lived in residence when I went to university, so I loved doing this. I visited Howe Hall, Gerard Hall and O'Brien which meant I was outside a lot. In addition I made homemade pizza and visited my Morris East co-workers at Obladee wine bar
My first step outside. It's such a peaceful and pretty neighbourhood in Halifax.
Looking down the street. I love the symmetry of the houses.
I only took the school bus in grade primary. I have so many funny memories from the bus - boys ducking down in their seat and popping up scaring the life out of me as I'd try to sit down in the "empty seat", sitting on our lunch cans riding over the big bump on the ride from Deepdale, often being scared in the morning that I was going to miss the bus, and rarely knowing if I was supposed to get off at home or keep going to the babysitter's house.
The Chase Building is one of my favourite buildings at Dal. I walk or drive by it every day I go to work. I think I like the tree just as much. Anyone know what kind of tree it is?
A lunchtime rest stop in the Public Gardens

This reminds me of the Flight of the Conchords song.
Okay. Pizza is one of my favourite foods. Not pizza corner pizza. Homemade pizza or Morris East pizza or Savatore's pizza or my mom's. My grandmother and I often enjoyed having pizza together. I discovered a pizza flour at Pete's and can't get how much it improves the crust. I guess it IS called "pizza flour". This is a bacon and hot peppers pizza with homemade tomato sauce (always).
The view of the Howe Hall quad. I could have lived here during university!
If I ever see a row of postal boxes, you can be sure I will photograph it. Always. It reminds me of going to pick up the mail growing up. PO Box 404. It was so fun. Plus before becoming a nurse, my mom worked at the post office. Impressively, she knew everyone in town's PO Box. I thought that was pretty cool! Especially when I wanted to send letters to my friends.
 Spring Garden Road in Spring!
I've renewed my sunflower love again...especially after discovering a field on them in Margaree in the summer.
Sparkly sparkling! Amber is so stylish.
