12 | 28 ... 4 /28

I was hoping that April 28 would be a warm, sunny, spring day. Instead, it was mostly overcast and chilly! I have to admit, I really didn't want to take photos. It was the weekend and I wanted to hang around the house and chill and maybe dreamily stare out the window at these trees. But I made a promise to myself, and had plans for the day, so I pulled my camera out.

I went to the Westcliffe with my friend and her two daughters. It was their first time at the Westcliffe and probably my 25th. It's a go to place when Bran and I are craving cheeseburgers, fries and milkshakes. I know, so healthy! Bev and Tyler own the Westcliffe and work everyday except Sundays. They are sweet, hardworking and eccentric. We go back as much for a visit as we do for the inexpensive diner food.

Isn't this sign a blast from the past?

Coffee cards at Java Blend.

Charlotte - my four-year-old friend – takes ballet on Saturday mornings. I got a chance to see one of her poses.
Charlotte again. But, much more comfortable after changing into her pink gear.
A Saturday wine tasting. Yum! Lots of luscious wines which will be on the spring Morris East menu starting mid-May.

I walked around a bit after the wine tasting. Because of the dull weather I was looking for some bright spots around downtown Halifax.

The newest guitar at our house. It's sexy and white.
I've been seeing stripes everywhere...although mostly sweaters and dresses.
A night out!

Rockabilly night at the Seahorse - a Johnny Cash tribute.
I love the texture and colour dancing on the wall.
